I was asked many Times what affect on text understending, so i decided to write something about this...
Factors that affect on text understanding
- Knowledge of the topic
- Concentration
- Motivation
- Anticipation
- Appropriate conditions (light, position)
It's some kind of madness to think that someone can remember 100% informations included in the text.
70% is very good score, with high reading speed 50% is not bad too.
Half of the mails which I get from you says about text understanding.
How to improve text understanding?
Answer for this question is very easy: You must see to appropriate conditions during the reading, try to find the most important informations connected with topic of reading text, make lot of concentration exercises and practise your anticipation.
